WEST MELBOURNE, Florida – An 18-year-old woman caused a disturbance at the West Melbourne Chick-fil-A after being asked to leave the restaurant, according to the West Melbourne Police Department.

Jarail Jacquez McAfee was arrested Friday, and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, and Resisting Police.

Employees at the Chick-fil-A, located at 835 Palm Bay Road, called authorities after McAfee, who was in the restaurant for several hours, caused a disturbance, according to the arrest affidavit.

When police arrived, McAfee was aggressive and threw a chair that damaged a light fixture causing approximately $500 worth of damage, the affidavit said.

After McAfee was detained, she began to bite a West Melbourne police officer multiple times, and she had to be placed into “three hobble restraints” with leg shackles, according to the report.
