WEST MELBOURNE, Florida – A 24-year-old man drove his motorcycle at 130 mph in a 45 mph zone, according to the West Melbourne Police Department.

Turki Adnan Hennawi, 24, was driving with a missing taillight when police tried to conduct a traffic stop.

Instead of stopping for police, Hennawi took off at a high rate of speed down Minton Road.

“The vehicle was visually estimated to be traveling at 130 mph in a 45 mph zone,” the officer said.

Another officer activated his radar and clocked Hennawi at a speed of 129 mph. Hennawi then turned down Flanagan Avenue and into the entrance of Max Rodes Park, which is a dead-end street.
