WEST MELBOURNE, Florida – Usually when people are having a bad day, they stay at home.
But not if you’re 30-year-old Ramiro Lopez Matias and have something to say to people while walking around the Publix shopping plaza in West Melbourne.
West Melbourne police received a call in reference to a man yelling at patrons and “giving them the middle finger” as they entered the stores, according to the report.
Officers arrived at 2251 W. New Haven Avenue and saw Matias yelling at people near the 192 Bagel shop, the report said.
Matias appeared to be angry at something because of the way he yelled at people.
“He began to disturb the patrons of the plaza by yelling at individuals and giving them the middle finger,” the officer said.
Matias was arrested on a charge of Disorderly Intoxication and booked into the Brevard County Jail.
According to jail records, Matias has never been arrested before in Brevard County.
