MELBOURNE, Florida – Police received a call Friday night at Debauchery, a bar in Melbourne, about a man who hit a bartender with a glass mug, the report said.
As officers arrived at 807 East New Haven Avenue, they were told the suspect fled on foot.
A few minutes later, police located the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Rocky Sebastian Redding.
The bartender said Redding struck her in the head with the glass after throwing it across the bar, according to the affidavit.
Redding was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The subject was already on probation for the same charge in January 2018.
Police spoke with Redding’s probation officer, and it was determined that he violated his release conditions, the affidavit said.
Redding is still being held in the Brevard County Jail without bond.
