MELBOURNE, Florida – Jimmy John’s sandwich shop has opened a new location in Melbourne, at 7830 N Wickham Road, and they are looking to hire 25-30 employees.

“We live in and love the area and wanted to serve, support and provide employment opportunities for the community,” said owner Clay Gillam.

Gillam plans on hiring 25-30 employees for the new Melbourne location. Applicants can stop by the store Monday – Sunday, between the hours of 11:00 am – 10:00 pm and fill out an application, or email Gillam at jimmyjohnsclay@gmail.com.

The majority of applicants who have previously applied to this gourmet sandwich restaurant chain have reported having a positive experience.

Jimmy John’s Franchise LLC has grown in the past 30 years and has over 2,500 locations.

In 1983, it was founded by Jimmy John Liautaud. Their headquarters are located in Champaign, Illinois; but, they have locations in all states except Connecticut, Rhode Island, Alaska, Maine, Hawaii, Vermont and New Hampshire.
