MELBOURNE – The body of Lee Robert Jones, 61, was discovered in downtown Melbourne on Friday afternoon.
The Melbourne Departement does not suspect any foul play in the death of the homeless man. His body was discovered along the southern bank of Crane Creek, just west of the U.S. 1 bridge at a campsite.
Crane Creek is a tributary of the Indian River, in Melbourne, with its mouth in the vicinity of Front Street. It is 3.3-mile-long.
