MERRITT ISLAND, Florida – Two men are facing multiple charges after a home invasion that almost turned deadly in Brevard County, according to the report.

Quantavious Vantrel Jackson, 21, Mikel Marvin Bright, 18, entered a home located at the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The homeowner was asleep when Bright, armed with a firearm, struck him in the face with the butt of the pistol before holding him at gunpoint, the affidavit said.

The victim said the two men stole his marijuana, $450 cash, Puma shoes, and an LG cell phone.

When Jackson and Bright left the residence, the stole the victim’s Lincoln Town Car.

The suspects were found a short time later and the homeowner identified them as the individuals who robbed him.

Jackson was charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and Robbery Home Invasion with a Weapon. Bond set at $65,000.
