PALM BAY, Florida – A woman was arrested on charges of domestic violence in Palm Bay after she slapped her husband several times when his saliva landed on her face.

The husband told the Palm Bay Police Department that the couple is going through a “financial crises” because he’s now unemployed.

The altercation started when the wife, identified as 40-year-old Jamie Nicole Negron, was in the kitchen washing dishes and mumbled something under her breath as the husband was talking on the cell phone.

The husband asked, “Are you talking to me?” The two began to argue loudly over the shores in the home.

As the husband walked away, Jamie followed him and continued the argument.

“As [the husband] spoke loudly, saliva flew out of his mouth landing on her face,” the officer said.

Once the saliva hit Jamie’s face, she slapped him 3 or 4 times. The husband then yelled, “Stop hitting me you bit**!”

Jamie was determined to be the primary aggressor in the Palm Bay home and was transported to the Brevard County Jail for booking.
