PALM BAY, Florida – Police say a man crashed into three vehicles in Melbourne on Friday during a road rage incident.

Henry Lee Nason, of Palm Bay, was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Mischief, Driving While License is Suspended, Leaving a Crash Scene, and Reckless Driving.

A woman told Melbourne Police that Nason intentionally crashed his Ford pickup into the back end of her vehicle while driving on Wickham Road, the report said. She then slowed down, to allow Nelson to pass so she could get his license plate, but he crashed into her a second time, according to the affidavit.

As officers were responding to the first accident, another crash was reported with a description of the same truck about 100 yards away, reports show.

Officers spotted Nason near Pineda Causeway when he intentionally crashed into the back end of a third vehicle twice, the report said. Nason eventually pulled into the Pineda Plaza where he was detained.

“A check of the defendant’s driver’s license history revealed three or more convictions for suspended driver’s license,” the officer said. Nason issued no proof of vehicle insurance.

Nason, 46, was transported to the Brevard County Jail and is still being held on $39,000 bond.
