PALM BAY, Florida – A man caught a peeping tom while outside him home after his daughter called him, according to the Palm Bay Police Department.
Robert Sanchez, 39, was charged with burglary and voyeurism after trying to get into a Palm Bay home through a back door.
The homeowner was on his way back from work when his daughter, who was home alone, called him about someone trying to get in.
The girl’s father was able to arrive home within minutes, according to Palm Bay police.
Sanchez attempted to enter the home stealthily and secretly observe the victim, the report said.
When the father arrived home, he ran after Sanchez. He was able to take a picture of his license plate which he forwarded to police.
Palm Bay police tracked the plate to Sanchez’s address and arrested him there.
The father then positively identified Sanchez as the man trying to break into his home.
Sanchez is now out of jail on a $15,000 bond at the Brevard County Jail.
