PALM BAY, Florida – Police said a man and woman in their 60s were found dead in their Palm Bay home by their son who last saw them alive on Sunday.

The couple was identified as Charles Lawrence, 60, and Jennifer Lawrence, 68. Police have called the deaths suspicious.

The Palm Bay couple was discovered dead by their son Tuesday afternoon when he showed up to pick up a package at their home at 990 Brocksmith Street SE, investigators said.

“I just came outside and just heard the son screaming and I just grabbed onto him to comfort him and you know saying to him, ‘What’s going on? Are you alright? Are you alright?’ And he said, ‘They’re both gone, both my parents are gone,'” neighbor Diane Clark said.

Police said there are no suspects and they don’t believe it was a random crime. The Palm Bay police spokesman declined to call it a murder-suicide or say how the couple died.
