PALM BAY – On Monday, December 10, 2018, 8:53 p.m. the Palm Bay Police Department received a call regarding a domestic battery on a pregnant woman and her mother.
When law enforcement arrived, they met with two victims, they both completed sworn written statements advising they wish to pursue charges in regards to a battery that took place on December 8, 2018, at a housewarming party.
While at the party, the pregnant victim observed her mother being choked by the defendant. When she asked why the defendant was chocking her mother, she punched her on the right side of her face, according to the affidavit.
The pregnant victim stated that the defendant knew she was pregnant with her grandchild (approximately 20 weeks).
The mother of the pregnant victim claims she pushed herself away from the woman in defense and was attacked three times.
A witness completed a sworn written statement. Collaborating the two victim’s stories.
According to the victims while the defendant was leaving she stated: “I’m going to fu**ing kill that bit**.”
Charity Dawn Giordano, 44, of Palm Bay was taken into custody from her Palm Bay residence and charged with Aggravated Battery Domestic Violence on a Pregnant Woman, Simple Battery, and Resisting an Officer Without Violence.
She was transported to the Palm Bay Police Department and turned over to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
Her Bond was set at $6,000.
