MICCO, Florida – A 32-year-old man was arrested a second time on charges of battery in Micco, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy Albert Yates was taken into custody after punching a woman several times to the head at her home in Micco.
Yates went to the victim’s house uninvited and forced her to message people about a tackle box “he believes was taken from him.”
The victim told deputies that Yates started yelling at her and struck her numerous times to the back of her head with his fist, the report said.
“[The victim] ran out of the house and Mr. Yates grabbed her in the headlock and dragged her back into the resident,” the deputy said.
The woman then escaped from the home and ran down the street with Yates following her.
“Mr. Yates then punched [the victim] in the nose and fled when he heard police sirens approaching,” the deputy stated.
The victim told law enforcement that she was in fear for her life, and feels Yates will one day kill her.
Yates was arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail where he was charged with Battery.
In April 2017, Yates was arrested after he grabbed the neck of a victim while holding a hunting knife. The victim was pregnant at the time.
