PALM BAY, Florida – A 31-year-old man was arrested for having a firearm after making threats inside PinUps in Palm Bay.

PinUps is an adult strip club located at 2586 Palm Bay Road. On Friday, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the manager called police about a suspicious black male who walked into the establishment and made threats, according to police.

As police arrived at the location, they observed a vehicle leaving the parking lot that matched the description given by the PinUps manager.

The vehicle was followed until it stopped and parked in the area of Palm Bay Road and Magnolia Street.

The officer made contact with the driver, later identified as Torrevio Maurice Ealy, as he exited his vehicle. Ealy, who matched the description given by PinUps, stated he was asked to leave the establishment by the manager.

“Torrevio then spontaneously uttered that he had a firearm in the vehicle that he was just driving. I asked Torrevio for consent to get the firearm, and run it to make sure it was not stolen. Torrevio gave me consent and told me that I would find it under the front seat,” the officer said.

The Palm Bay officer retrieved the firearm under the driver’s seat, which is where Torrevio was sitting.

It was then revealed that Torrevio was a convicted felon and was taken into custody for possession of the firearm.

Torrevio was transported to the Brevard County Jail where he remains without bond.
