MICCO, Florida – The Special Investigations Unit with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 915 Wren Circle in Barefoot Bay Tuesday.

The search warrant was in reference to narcotics, according to law enforcement.

“During the search warrant, the homeowner and resident, Renee Smith, was in possession of a glass smoking pipe which FTP for the presence of cocaine,” the deputy said.

The SWAT team arrived at approximately 4:30 p.m. as multiple deputies surrounded the home.

Smith, 52, was arrested at the home with Angela Maria Briguglio, 43, and Bonnie Jean Long, 62.

Smith was charged with Drug Paraphernalia, and both Briguglio and Long were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription.

“4 individuals had vacated the premises shortly before the deputies arrived. Other individuals from 915 Wren Cir. were seen walking past the house as the raid was in progress,” Barefoot Bay resident Jim Gallagher said.

Several residents say the residence is known as a “drug house” in the neighborhood with vehicles coming and going at all hours of the night.

Another neighbor told Palm Bay Daily that finding used syringes or needles on the ground in front of the residence is quite common.
