Annual Brevard Women’s March in Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Florida – The Annual Brevard Women’s March will be Saturday, January 20, from 12 pm – 2 pm at the Eau Gallie Causeway State Road 518 in Melbourne.

This rally will include Brevard women and men uniting to reaffirm their commitment to building a positive future for all.

They will be marching and rallying for women’s rights, healthcare reform, LGBTQIA rights, ending violence, human rights, reproductive rights, workers’ rights, civil rights, disability rights, racial equality, immigrant rights, Indigenous people’s rights, to encourage participation in 2018 midterm elections, and environmental justice.

This women’s marches network will kick off an initiative to register 1 million women to vote in conjunction with voters’ rights organizations.

Participants should bring creative signage, a reusable water bottle, friends, American flags, marching shoes, bullhorns, a great attitude and a willingness to change the world.

There is a boat ramp on the East end of the causeway, or you may find parking along the road. If you have difficulty walking, get there early to park here. Otherwise, there is plenty of parking on both sides of the Causeway. After parking walk toward the boat ramp.

Contact the Brevard March & Rally Group if you would like to volunteer or speak.
