PALM BAY – The Palm Bay Police Department will be hosting a Community & Officers in Partnership Forum Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 6 PM – 8 PM at the Tony Rosa Community Center.

This community event will be an opportunity to connect with the Palm Bay Police Department, discuss issues, and figure out how to work together to find solutions.

Chief Jim Rogers and Councilman Kenny Johnson will host the event, and police officers will be on hand to answer questions.

About Chief Jim Rogers

Chief James Rogers, a graduate of the FBI National Academy, has been with the Palm Bay Police Department since 1987. He has worked his way through the ranks and became Deputy Chief in 2015.

He has served on the SWAT team, Criminal Investigations, Patrol, Youth Services, the Communications Center, and Professional Standards.

Rogers is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute. He received an Undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master’s degree in Political Science.
