Coffee with Cop – Palm Bay Police Department

PALM BAY – The Palm Bay Police Department will be hosting Coffee with a Cop on January 25, 2019, from 8:30 am until 9:30 am at the Palm Bay American Legion Lodge.

Community members are welcome to attend to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee.

“The majority of the contact law enforcement has with the public happens during emergencies or emotional situations,” said Police Chief Jim Rogers.

“Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the officers who work in their neighborhood every day,” Rogers added.

Coffee with a Cop and similar events are held across the county. These events, supported by The United States Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, help local police departments make lasting connections with the communities they serve.
