PALM BAY – The second Friday of every month, the Franklin T. DeGroodt Library in Palm Bay offers an Art in the Park program for children ages 5-12.

Once registered the children can come to the library and create something fun and beautiful. This event is hosted by Youth Services; they provide all materials for the kids to create something unique to take home.

Space is limited, signups for each session will open after the previous program has taken place. (E.G., The signup for March will open after February’s class).

Their Spring line up is as follows (3:00 pm – 4:00 pm):

  • January 11 – Fluid Painting
  • February 8 – Coffee Filter Flowers
  • March 8 – Giant Shamrock
  • April 12 – Dreamcatchers
  • May 10 – Squishy Fish
