PALM BAY, Florida – Wondering where to go to celebrate the 4th of July in Palm Bay this year?

1) Eastern Florida State College Palm Bay Campus – The City of Palm Bay & Giant Recreation World will be hosting Brevard County’s Biggest and Best Independence Day Celebration at the Eastern Florida State College Palm Bay Campus, Wednesday, July 4th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.

The event will feature live music, more than 25 food trucks, vendors, a Kids’ Zone, and a spectacular fireworks display.

These will be a live broadcast by 107.1 WA1A and giveaways.

The headlining band will be Blue Stone Circle. Whether you want the best R&B, top 40, party favorites, pop, classics, country, or disco, BSC will deliver.

American Idol contestant Mackenzie Carey will also be performing and greeting her fans after the show.

2) Firecracker 5k – The Firecracker 5k will be Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at 7:00 a.m. It will begin at Front Street Civic Center and proceed over the Melbourne Causeway.

The cost is $30 per adults and $15 per child. There will be individual awards for the 3 top local heroes Military/Police/Fire.

3) City of Melbourne Fireworks – The City of Melbourne will be lighting up the sky over the Indian River Lagoon near Front Street Park this Fourth of July.

Everyone is asked to park at Melbourne Auditorium, at 625 Hibiscus Boulevard. There will be a shuttle service to take you to Front Street Park at no charge.

The City of Melbourne is excited to have Air Sports Parachute Team as part of the 4th of July Fireworks Display. They will begin their show at 8:05 p.m. and the fireworks will begin around 9:00 p.m.
