MELBOURNE, Florida – A woman who was arrested on a charge of Domestic Violence accuses her husband’s mistress of hacking her phone, according to law enforcement.
The Melbourne Police Department received a call about a disturbance Saturday night at the 1100 block of Sanddune Lane. The caller told dispatch that the disturbance had been going on all day.
Officers spoke with the victim who stated his wife of 11 years accused him of cheating on him and that the mistress was hacking her phone.
The victim said his wife went outside to “track another female” who he was allegedly cheating with, and then returned to confront him of cheating. He said his wife struck him on his left shoulder with an open hand.
The officer could see a red hand print consistent with being struck on the victim’s upper left arm.
The wife, identified as 39-year-old Michelle Elizabeth Lucas, told the officer that she was getting messages on her phone throughout the day from someone she believes is “using her iCloud account,” according to the report.
Lucas told the officer the person using her iCloud account is the same person who her husband is cheating on her with, the report said.
“Michelle stated she believes this is the same woman that he has been cheating on her with for the past five years,” the officer said. Lucas would not show the officer her phone or any of the messages.
Lucas told police that her husband grabbed her in order to restrain her, but she resisted him and pushed him to get away.
“Michelle was unable to show me any marks of anything physical on her person,” the Melbourne police officer said.
Michelle Lucas was arrested for Battery Domestic Violence and booked into the Brevard County Jail.
According to jail records, Lucas was also arrested in May for Battery Domestic Violence.
