
WEST MELBOURNE, Florida – The West Melbourne Police Department is reaching out to the public to identify a man who robbed a Subway restaurant, located at 3048 West New Haven Avenue.
The West Melbourne robbery occurred at the restaurant on September 20th around 8:00 p.m.
“The suspect approached the Subway employee, placed a firearm on the counter, covered it with a shirt, and demanded all of the money from the cash register,” said West Melbourne Police Capt. Richard Cordeau.
“When the Subway employee complied with the suspect’s request, the suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. The employee was not injured.”
The robbery suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid to late 30s with a thin mustache, 6-feet tall, and 200 pounds. He was wearing a gray shirt, tan cargo shorts and a black baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
