PALM BAY, Florida – A 44-year-old woman who called for a cab after she was released from jail is now back behind bars for failure to pay for the fare, according to the Brevard County Jail.

Jennifer Elizabeth Henson called the cab company Saturday from the Brevard County Jail to get a ride back to her vehicle. She was arrested a day earlier at the Palm Bay Walmart for theft, cocaine possession, and drug paraphernalia, according to the report.

When the cab driver asked for the $98.25 fare, Henson told him she didn’t have any money. The cab called the Palm Bay Police Department.

When officers arrived, Henson was seen trying to conceal a bag in her vehicle. Inside the bag was cocaine and drug paraphernalia. They realized the bag was also one of the items Henson stole from Walmart the previous day.

Henson was arrested again on a charge of cocaine possession, drug paraphernalia, and transit fare evasion.
