PALM BAY – On December 9, 2018, at 2:40 p.m. officers were called to a hit and run crash scene involving injuries. According to the witness the vehicle that fled was a white early 2000 Chevy Express utility van that appeared to be a construction or painter van, according to the Palm Bay Police Department.
The witness stated that the driver’s side front tire was flat, and the van fled southbound on Babcock, according to the affidavit. They added that the van driven by a white female was traveling southbound and suddenly crossed over into the northbound lane.
It appeared that they were turning into Convair St when the van struck the other vehicle causing the other vehicle to roll over. A brief time later officers found the vehicle disabled with a flat tire and front-end damage.
Beth Marie Pouliot, 46, of Palm Bay was located and charged with DUI Alcohol or Drugs 3rd Viol WI 10 Years, DUI Damage to Prop/Person of Another, Leave Scene Crash Inv Injury Other Than Serious Bodily Injury, Leave Scene Crash w/Prop Damage, DUI Damage to Prop/Person of Another, DWLS With Knowledge.
Pouliot’s had two previous DUI arrest in January of 2018, and October of 2007.
After being medically cleared at the Palm Bay hospital ER, she transported to the Palm Bay Police Department for booking.
Her bond is set at $62,000.
