PALM BAY, Florida – A 21-year-old woman is behind bars after she allegedly attacked a 7-Eleven manager after her boyfriend was fired, according to Palm Bay Police Department.

The 7-Eleven manager told officers that she recently fired a man for stealing. Subsequently, he was arrested for the theft.

The manager said she was riding her bike home from work when a blue 2008 Toyota, driven by Patricia Janet Erickson, pulled up to her at the intersection of Port Malabar Blvd and Waialae Circle.

Erickson then exited her vehicle and attacked the manager. The victim said Erickson is the girlfriend of the man she fired for stealing.

Two witnesses at the scene saw Erickson physically attack the victim while she was on her bicycle. They said the victim defended herself by covering her face.

Erickson was arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail.
