Palm Bay Victim Finds Burglar With Track My Phone

PALM BAY – The Palm Bay Police Department was called to the 700 Block of Babcock St., in reference to a theft. When they arrived, they meet up the Melbourne Police Department and the victim.

She adviced that her cell phone was taken from her residence, in the 1600 Block of Sadigo St, in Palm Bay, between 1/15/19 – 1/26/19. When she woke up the morning of 1/26/2019 and realized that her phone was missing off of the washing machine in her garage, according to the affidavit.

She tracked her phone which plotted to an address in the 700 Block of Babcock Street. She contacted the Melbourne Police Department, due to the location being in the city.

Melbourne PD responded to the location and made contact with Micah Joseph Martino, 31, who had the victim’s cell phone in his possession.

Martino was taken into custody and charged with Burglarizing an Occupied Dwelling Unarmed, and Grand Theft Pocket Picking. He is being held on a bond of $9,000.
