PALM BAY, Florida – A Palm Bay man was arrested Tuesday morning after he recorded two children in the women’s restroom at a Walgreens store, police said.

Jonathan Kelvin Montaque, 20, was in the store at South Babcock Street and Port Malabar Boulevard Northeast in Palm Bay for about an hour Saturday when he recorded the children, ages 9 and 5, with an iPhone, according to the report.

A Palm Bay Walgreens employee stopped Montaque while cleaning near the women’s restroom and directed him to the men’s room.

The children told their mother about the incident, investigators said.

When Montaque was confronted by a store employee, he left, police said.

Last weekend, Palm Bay Police Department sent out a bulletin asking the public for help on identifying the suspect who was trying to record the children.

Investigators said they’re unsure if he was trying to film adults or purposely filming children.
