PALM BAY, Florida – Police responded to the 1700 block of Bottlebrush about a man firing a semiautomatic firearm.

The victims told officers that the suspect, identified as 31-year old Moises Abraham, drove past them slowly while staring at them at the residence.

One of the victims is Abraham’s ex-girlfriend, the other is her new boyfriend.

“The victims were in fear for their lives after Mr. Abraham fired the shot into the air and retreated to the apartment,” Palm Bay police said.

Abraham told his ex-girlfriend that she must choose between her current boyfriend or him before firing the semi-automatic firearm in the air.

Police said Abraham committed the offense of Armed Burglary with a Firearm by entering the victim’s dwelling, while in possession of a firearm, with the intent to commit Aggravated Assault with the Firearm.

Abraham fled the scene after the victims called the police. He was later found with the firearm tucked in the right side of his waistband.

He was arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail for booking.
