Melbourne Man Uses Computer To Lure Child

A man has been arrested for trying to lure a child to perform sexual acts in Melbourne.

MELBOURNE, Florida – A 28-year-old man was arrested after luring a 13-year-old girl to meet with him to perform sexual acts.

Christopher Lee Wilkinson asked a 13-year-old female to meet with him after having a lengthy conversation on the computer.

The child was actually an Agent with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office as he was working in an undercover capacity as a 13-year-old female.

During the course of the investigation, Wilkinson asked the female “do you want to with me? Have sex” and “You ever suck on the d*** before? Do you want to try it? I won’t force you to suck it.”

This was said after Wilkinson was told the age of the child numerous times.

Wilkinson then sent an image of his penis asking the child if she liked it, but then asked her to delete it because he didn’t want anyone to know he sent it.

“The defendant then requested to meet the child at a location where he intended on performing sexual acts on the child. The defendant agreed to meet the child when a parent or guardian was not present at the residence,” the Agent said.

Wilkinson proceeded to meet the undercover agent at a pre-determined location within Brevard County in Melbourne.

Upon meeting, Wilkinson was arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail where he was charged with Travel to Meet After Use Computer to Lure Child, and Transmit Info Harmful to Minors.

Wilkinson remains in jail on a $70,000.00 bond.
