Man Shot in Leg in Palm Bay Neighborhood

PALM BAY, Florida – A 26-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday night in a Palm Bay neighborhood.

The man, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, was shot on the 800 block of Brantley Street about 8:30 p.m.

Police said one other person was with the injured man when officers arrived on scene. It’s unclear whether the person arrived before or after the shooting.

Palm Bay police are working to determine who fired the shot.

The incident is still under investigation. No arrests were made.

“There is conflicting information at this time,” said spokesman for the Palm Bay Police Department Lt. Steve Bland told Palm Bay Daily.
