PALM BAY, Florida – A 34-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges after causing a disturbance at a Circle K convenience store, according to the Palm Bay Police Department.

Daniel Mark Wilson was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Resisting Arrest, Retail Theft, Threats To Do Violence, and Trespassing.

On Tuesday at around 5:30 a.m., Wilson walked into the Circle K at 4950 Babcock Street in Palm Bay after being trespassed on Monday.

When asked to leave by the Circle K clerk, Wilson said he “owns the store” and became irate. Wilson then picked up a bottle of apple juice and threw it at the store window, breaking it. He then knocked over a sunglass stand, damaging more than eight pairs of sunglasses. During this encounter, the store employee called the police.

Wilson made verbal threats to kill the Circle K worker. Lastly, he grabbed about five beverages from the store and exited without paying.

Palm Bay police arrived and found Wilson near the business and instructed him to stop. As officers attempted to detain Wilson, he resisted but was inevitably arrested.

Wilson told officers that he was having a stroke and then began to act erratically. Based on his allegations and behavior, police transported him to a hospital. Once medically cleared, Wilson threatened to kill the police officers.
