WEST MELBOURNE, Florida – A man who called 911 from a Taco Bell, located at 2035 W. New Haven Avenue, told police he was getting ready to fight someone inside the restaurant, according to the West Melbourne Police Department.

David Scott Casciola, 42, told officers that he called 911 after someone made an “obscene” comment toward his “girlfriend” and he wanted to fight him.

However, the “girlfriend” said she wasn’t with Casciola and advised he had been harassing her.

Police said they could smell an alcoholic beverage whenever Casciola spoke.

Officers told Casciola to leave the area and not start a fight at the restaurant.

“After many times of asking, he walked away for a time. He then circled back around and began to harass” the woman he called his girlfriend, the officer said.
