MELBOURNE, Florida – A man was seen concealing a red bra in his pants pocket at the Walmart in Melbourne, according to the police affidavit.
Robert Ashley Cobb, 41, of Melbourne, Florida, was arrested for Retail Theft, Methamphetamine Possession, and Drug Paraphernalia Wednesday at Walmart.
The Melbourne Police Department said that a Loss Prevention officer flagged down an officer to report a theft in progress inside the store. Several employees reported that a man was concealing items near the women’s clothing section, one item being a red bra being stuffed in the suspect’s pants pocket.
“I found the white male standing near one of the closed registers by the front of the store. I detained the male without incident,” the officer said.
The red bra was recovered from Cobb’s pant’s pocket, along with a small makeup kit. There were also two needles found with “brown fluid” inside that tested positive for the Methamphetamine. Also found was a rock-like substance in a plastic bag, which also tested positive for the presence of Methamphetamine.
Cobb was transported to the Brevard County Jail where bond was set at $2,500.
