MELBOURNE, Florida – A Krispy Kreme driver was arrested after slashing a motorist’s tires during a “road rage” incident, according to the Melbourne Police Department.

Iman Elder, 33, was charged with Criminal Mischief due to the incident on Friday afternoon.

The victim said he motioned for Elder to roll down his window, and he told him to slow down when approaching the red light at the intersection of Eau Gallie and Wickham Road, the report said.

“Iman Elder got out of the van and approached the driver side door. Elder then told the victim he should slash their tire and produced a small bladed pocket knife and reached down with the knife near the front left tire,” the officer said.

The victim then could “hear the sound of air coming out fo the tire and knew it was cut,” the affidavit said.

Elder then jumped back into the Krispy Kreme van and fled the scene. Officers spotted the van not far from where the incident occurred. He was arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail for processing.
