PALM BAY – On Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at approximately 9:00 am, Suzette L Johnson called the Palm Bay Police Department because she believed that she was overdosing on methamphetamine.

Johnson, 46, did commit the offense of Child Neglect by intentionally and willfully using methamphetamine while being the sole guardian of a child, according to the affidavit.

The residue and a “meth pipe” made out of a beer can were left in the trash within reach of the child which could have resulted in the child ingesting the FTP for methamphetamine, according to police reports.

Johnson was arrested and charged with Child Abuse without Great Harm as Agg Assault. Her Bond was set at $5,000.
