PALM BAY – Marshall Benjamin Randall, 52, of Melbourne failed to come to a complete stop at the TD Bank parking lot before entering SR520. In addition, he did not have his headlights activated during rainy weather, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon the law enforcement officer conducting a traffic stop and during a PC search of the vehicle, he located (1) loaded 25 caliber handgun under the passenger seat and (1) loaded 9mm handgun, (2) loaded magazines and (1) box of 25 caliber ammunition in a safe located in the trunk of the vehicle.

“I asked Mr. Randall for the key to open the safe, which he handed me his keychain containing two keys: the key to the safe and the key to the vehicle,” the officer stated in the affidavit.

Within the safe next to the 9mm handgun and magazines was personal mail from TD Bank listing Mr. Randall’s full name and address.

“I confirmed Mr. Randall’s driver’s license via Teletype (ID56), who confirmed Mr. Randall was convicted on (2) felony counts, confirming his status as a convicted felon,” the officer stated in the affidavit.

Randall was arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail where he is being held on $15,000 bond.
