MELBOURNE, Florida – Officials say seven passengers on an airboat were rescued on Lake Washington in Brevard County.

The crash happened Thursday morning in a lake known for alligators.

One person in the boating crash told a news crew that they waited for rescue while standing on top of the overturned vessel.

All seven passengers made it to shore safely and nobody required any medical attention.
